He is represented tonight by his brothers.The National Wrestling Hall of Fame has recognized Mr. Fornicola with the Lifetime Service to Wrestling honor for his "years of dedication to the development of leadership and citizenship in young people through the sport of wrestling". He wrestled back to earn the 4th place medal and All-State status to close out his Bellefonte career. After graduation, he enrolled at Lycoming College where he played football and earned a Bachlelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. You can find youth folkstyle wrestling tournaments as well as Freestyle and Greco-Roman events. En route to his 3rd place regional finish and state qualifier status, Joel became the first and still only wrestler from any school to ever record 4 falls a single Northwest Region Class AAA tournament.
